Tai Pak Beach
Seahorse Lane, Discovery Bay, Lantau Island
The Tai Pak Beach is Hong Kong’s first private artificial beach, covered with 300 000 cubic metres of fine sand imported from the Chinese Mainland by the Discovery Bay’s developer in the 1980s. Visitors can stroll barefoot along the approximately 400-metre-long beach and feel the softness and smoothness of the silky sand beneath.
In addition, the Tai Pak Beach features the largest beach playground in Hong Kong, equipped with facilities such as zip lines, a rope bridge, small climbing nets, slides and swings, allowing visitors to make the most of every joyful moment.
