Lamma Island

Located to the south of Hong Kong Island, Lamma Island is the third largest island in Hong Kong, with an area of about 14 square kilometres and a population of around 6 500. The island is blessed with magnificent scenery and luxuriant greenery. There are not only fishing villages and rafts on the island, but also beaches with fine sands and clear water.

Lamma Island is mainly divided into Sok Kwu Wan in the south and Yung Shue Wan in the north. There is a family trail traversing both parts, making the island ideal for family outings. Strolling along the family trail in Sok Kwu Wan, visitors can enjoy the views of the wind turbine of the Lamma Winds as well as the jagged rocks with distinctive formations. Yung Shue Wan is a culturally diverse and lively area on Lamma Island. It is well-known for its thriving dining scene, in particular its highly popular seafood restaurants and European cuisine, as well as an array of shops offering a good range of local specialty products.
