The Mini Great Wall
Cheung Chau, Islands District
Located on Cheung Chau’s southeastern side, the Mini Great Wall is approximately two kilometres long and forms a section of the Cheung Chau Family Trail. Lined with granite railings, the trail earned its name for its resemblance to the Great Wall of China, and is a beginner-friendly route perfect for families and amateur hikers. Along the way, visitors can enjoy the coastal views of Tung Wan and Kwun Yam Wan. Some uniquely shaped rocks, collectively known as the “16 famous special-shaped rocks”, can also be found along the trail. The names and locations of each of these rocks are detailed at the Mini Great Wall’s entrance, making it easy for visitors to explore.
