Situated on a hillside near Shek Tsai Po Street, Tai O Heritage Hotel is a revitalised historical landmark transformed from the Old Tai O Police Station, originally built in 1902. Rated as a Grade 2 Historic Building in 2009, and received a UNESCO Award of Merit for Cultural Heritage Conservation in 2013. The hotel features nine distinctive guest rooms and the glass-roofed restaurant, Tai O Lookout. There is also a Heritage Interpretation Centre presenting unique stories and history of Tai O. The hotel not only helps promote sustainable local tourism, but also offers visitors an immersive experience into the of the rich heritage and landscape of Tai O.
